Q2 2024 Theme Parks Apps Performance on Unified Platform in the US

In Q2 2024, the top five theme parks apps have shown varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. The data, courtesy of Sensor Tower, reflects the apps' performance on a unified platform.

My Disney Experience observed a revenue peak in early May at nearly $1.3M before settling to $764K by the end of June. Downloads showed an increase in late April, reaching over 600K, but later dipped to 477K. Weekly active users peaked in early May with over 750K, then fluctuated and closed the quarter at 628K.

Disneyland® Paris saw modest revenues, peaking at $27K in late April. Downloads reached their highest at 445K in the same month, but saw a decline to 270K by late June. The app maintained a steady base of weekly active users, starting at 1.19M and slightly decreasing to 1.14M by the quarter's end.

Universal Orlando Resort had no revenue reported for the quarter. Downloads saw a notable increase in early May, reaching 423K, but later decreased to 196K. Weekly active users exhibited a peak of 998K in mid-May, subsequently decreasing to 738K.

Universal Studios Hollywood™, another NBCUniversal app with no reported revenue, saw downloads peak at 191K in early May, then fall to 76K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users reached their highest at 552K in mid-May before dropping to 410K.

SeaWorld also had no revenue to report. The app's downloads hit a high of 90K in mid-May but fell to 28K by June. Active users peaked at 103K in the same month, then experienced a sharp decline to zero by late June.
